driving on highway car just died and it wont start or turnover

I'd start with looking at the fuel pump relay, then the fuel pump, make sure you are getting fuel. There are a number of other things you can also look at, but start with the simple ones first.

sounds like your motor locked up. did you see any oil on the ground or when it shut off did you see a lot of smoke. get a socket and ratchet and try to turn the harmonic balancer if it will not turn the motor is locked up. I had a contour that done the same thing but i went through a little water and it sucked the water in the breather and locked it up.
