does the dash light come on when you unlock the car antomatically?

Just bought a 2011 Camry Should the dash light come on when I unlock or just the overhead light?

The answer to this question should be in the Owner's Manual. Having said that...the next time you notice this happens.... ,get in to the vehicle and see if the headlight switch is in the OFF position. Then...check the dash dimmer switch and turn it OFF. Get out of vehicle lock her up...wait a few min. and unlock her to see what happens. Get back with results.
