I know this is a dumb question but how do I know if my 2010 Jaguar XF is a base model or premium
Well I was looking up your brake pads, the XF model has the 4.2L in it. When you say premium that is just a premium pad.
Are you compression the piston back into the caliper?
That could be it....
There may have been options for the brake caliper and rotor size. Run your VIN through an online VIN checker to know exactly how your car was equipped. You can always take a pad with you to the auto parts store to make sure you get the correct parts.
