What transmission will fit 1991 GMC Sierra K1500 4WD V8-5.7L?

I recently bought a 1991 GMC Sierra Club Cab.  I knew that it would need to have the transmission replaced.  I'm not a mechanic, by any means but have a friend who is kind of a jack of all trades and is willing to help me install one.  Is there a certain transmission I should be looking for??  It's a 1991 GMC Sierra 4WD, V8-5.7L engine, if that helps.  Any information would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!!

700R4 is what came out and it will be the easiest to put back in.
