2000 gmc jimmy won't start even when on cables.

2000 gmc jimmy dies one day when listening to stereo in
accessory when going to start it to charge the battery the
car wants to start but just doesn't turn over. It has power
behind it but also no spark when spraying starter fluid in
and cranking. Any ideas?
