Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Gets connection but when you turn the ignition it goes dead and won't start.
Tap on battery and lights come on again but then when you try to start
it...nothing.  Help.

1 Answer

Tapping on the battery indicates bad connection at battery, bad connection near the battery, bad connection at starter or bad battery. Battery terminals need to be absolutely clean and tight. Grounds need to be clean and tight.
