Does anyone knoa what my problem is?

I have a 85 chevy pickup with a 350 engine
in it I jus rebuilt it. It had a slight skip wen I
got it runnin but now its worse and popping
back through the mufflers

Your distributor is not in the proper position. It could be slipping and retardeing the timing.

timing, firing order could be off, valves could not be tightened proplerly. Hopefully the timing chain is timed correctly
