Brakes locking up
My brakes on my 05 dodge durango keeps locking
up. I have changed the brake booster and the
master cylinder on but it keeps locking up. But
once I let the car sit for a minute they'll unlock until
I start driving it again please help me!!!
Brake calipers. These have composite pistons and should be replaced every brake change. I would also replace hoses
In the future remember to buy loaded calipers when you do a front brake service. This is a common issue on vehicles with composite piston calipers. I hope you didn't change the master cylinder and booster because of this problem.
I also hope you bench bled MC and didn't rely on just bleeding it after installation.
The rubber lines that feed the calipers maybe imploded, when brakes are locked up open the bleeder & see if it relieves brakes
what controls the brakes on a 2000 dodge durango having problems getting to work.
it would be nice to have answer right away
