On my 2002 dodge durango , when i tap the
brakes it stops as if i slammed the brakes what
should i do?

Remove master leave lines attached, once out of the way you'll see a rod sticking out of master, disconnect battery place a heavy item on brake pedal the rod sticking out use good pair of pliers or vice grips enough to secure it be careful not to mar shaft,the tip of rod has a nipple that is adjustable screw in and test may need to do this a couple times to set proper depth of rod in master cyl back.
