May buy a 2003 CTS and know little about cars. The owner is selling for $3,500 w/ 159K mi. Is this generally a good deal? I'd drive 6k miles per year. Estimate of affordable years left on it? Thanks

I wouldn't go over 2500 for that vehicle... even though you are only looking at doing 6k a year, with it currently having 160k miles on it and being 11 years old, no matter how well built a car, stuff happens and wears out do to age and usage so you want to put that 1k into an account to basically have as your own 'warrenty'...
