why do some have a suicide hood and others dont

most i have seen have a suicide hood as well i found a 68 for sale that doesnt i am wondering what the differences are

Do you have a picture of it? Any 4 door made up to 1969 should have them.

61-69 Continental 4 doors have the backward hood but the 2 doors (67+) have the front opening hoods.
