10w30 on the engine oil, and Dextron on the trany fluid.

About the transmission fluid. Dextron transmission fluid is backwards compatible with any GM transmission made since 1939. So the current Dextron fluid will be ok for your 1976 model. As long as the bottle says "Dextron" on it, you're good. HTH. -Jim
