May be a grounding problem. Look for a break or worn spot in the harness leading to the back that would cause it to loose the ground connection. Also inspect , loosen, clean and reconnect all grounds you find. Putting an ohm meter between one of the devices like a bulb socket and a ground connection should also show zero ohms.If it shows infinite ohms, you have no ground connection.
