Any way to make my 2005 Subaru RS faster

Asked by IsaakMills Oct 17, 2018 at 03:50 PM about the 2005 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS

Question type: Car Customization

Ive had my subaru for a few years now. its a automatic and i want to make it
faster. some say i should get a cold air intake but im concerned if i need a tune
or not. i dont know too much about my car but would like to find a way to
increase Aceleration. (It is not turboed)

Intake will make it sound better, you don't need a tune since your car is not turbo. I personally wouldnt waste the money, it will not be any faster. Instead save money for a subaru with a turbo from the factory, or an evo.

Sell it and buy a STi. No intake or exhaust upgrades will make much of a difference.

Drive it out of a cargo plane in mid air. I'll be it will be fast enough then. It will always be a slug in regards to speed.
