my 2005 suburu forester has 53,000 original miles on it and I am the original owner. The car has had its routine services by the dealer since I bought it new. Recently my check engine light and cruise control green light flashing with the AT oil temp coming on after driving over 50 mph. I have had a diagnostic test and it stated it was the transmission sensor. Had it replaced and a month later same thing happeneing again and no o0ne seems to have a clue including Suburu

go to www.DOTsubaruforesterDOTorg or NASIOC or other suburu forums and ask for help. I know of excellent techs that will/should be able to tell you what is going on. And you will probably be fine just copying and pasting. Good luck and kind regards,

Same issue (AT OIl temp light blinking) - cannot find procedure to extract diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) using on-board software. No 'white connector' under dash and the push trip odometer 4x, lights on/off did not work (secret handshake) . 2005 Forester, AT, no turbo.
