My daughter said the 04 ion made a loud squealing noise and she shut it off now won't turn over but you can hear starter click..

First, check the oil level. If it's good on oil or say the starter is dead. If you need help replacing it let me know.

just changed oil 2 days before but it did show a quart low. And she drove 1/2 mile before it started squealing so she pulled over and shut it off then wouldn't turn over.Put a wrench on crank bolt wouldn't turn.
