Repaint 1999 Lexus ES 300 Coach

I want to completely repaint the entire car due to severe clear coat pealing and pitting.
A Custom complete 3-5 stage Metallic or Pearl 2014 paint color PPG/Sherwin
Williams quote is $3500.00 new bumper cover, door pillars, inside trunk/hood, etc. Is
this reasonable? Others quote $1000,00 if I get a new bumper cover and hood which
has the most clear coat damage. Both include body work for all dings including fairly
damaged drivers side front 2 doors and pillar. Any ideas about colors and amount of
Bling?

35 for all that, Who is this, Earl Scribe ? go for it, if the rest of the car warrants the new gloss. the pearl in the red shades are striking with a compatible interior shade, and of course the rims as a final

a paint job by a pro is incredibly expensive- if you could take part in all the work that goes into prep work, you would understand why- if you get a low price job, (and 3 grand seems cheap) they probably skimp on the prep work, which means it may look good, but will not last- and then you have a 15 year old Lexus with peeling paint- why is a 99 Lexus worth it? I don't get it- just buy another car with good paint-
