Car is running but electrical shuts off

The car will be running with the lights on then the lights will just shut off while driving. I
have turned the car off than back on and the lights will come back on. What could cause
this to happen?

possible your key is not returning all the way after you start it. Mine does the same thing.

i had that problem, and your suggestion of the key position cured it. Thanks, john

Would you elaborate more on how the key position should be and how to accomplish this? I'm having the same issue. Lights and air will go off while driving. Sometimes they come back on, sometimes not.
