Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Fuel pump went out, so I changed the fuel pump. now I hear nothing when I
turn the key to the on position (fuel pump sending fuel), I still have spark and
air and the engine turns over. I did just put a new fuel pump in the tank and
put the tank back on and have 3/4 of a tank of gas.

1990 firebird base, auto, 6 cyl mfi.

Try testing the voltage at the pump and verify that the pump still has a good chasis ground. Check the fuel pump fuse.
