I have a 1990 firebird with the 3.1l and I have been realized that when I start it to warm up, it sucks more gas then it does when I am driving it and I want to know why it does that. My other question is, one day. I was on my way back and I was at a stop sign and their was a car coming, so I put my foot to the floor to and it just died on me, it started right up and drove ever since that. 7 Answers

95 Firebird 3.4 slugish, "if it does start", next time its running great till warm, then wont idle, shakes till it shuts down. If you get it running, dont stop or slow down, you may never get it going again! 2 Answers

What is wrong with 1999 Pontiac firebird/transam...I have done everything I possibly can to get it running back n tip top shape. It is not letting me drive over 40mph even with the pedal to the floor. 4 Answers
The guy I bought it from said it was the fuel pump so I bought a new one, that didn't solve it. I have flushed the fuel lines. Done everything I possibly no of to do. Help???
