tire size, again

Asked by pifomatic Nov 27, 2011 at 06:23 PM about the 1996 Pontiac Bonneville 4 Dr SLE Sedan

Question type: General

Someone is giving me a set of 6 winter tires with rims after loosing his car in an accident. He assures me that the tires will fit my Pontiac Bonneville 1996. His car had 3X 195/65R15 and 1 X 205/65R15 on it...
Is that possible that this will fit on my Bonneville, which is on 215/65R15? I really need help on that topic!

Really all of those tires sizes are within range. I believe for a 96 the factory tires (at least on my car) were 225/60/16. These sizes you listed would work but at a minimum you are going to want FOUR TIRES, that are the same size otherwise you will most likely have ride issues.
