What size engine came with the 1968 Two Door Convertible?

It looks like a big block V-8 but i want to know what the actual size is?

you need to check the vin#, my grandfathers 67 had a 440.

I would go for the 389-400 as well. Less likely would be a 421, or a later 455

Pontiacs do not come with 440's. That is a Mopar engine

I have one....Mine has a 428. It has the numbsers 428 on the driver and passenger side of the car, right behind the front wheels. Mine is a convertable...hope this helps
