Question type: General

What is the hose from blower motor to fire wall

I'm assuming that you're referring to the heater core line, coolant goes through it so you can heat the car.

No, I am talking about a hose about 4 to5" long. It has nothing in it. It almost seems like a air way to cool the blower motor.

Is this the line under the dashboard to the firewall?? If so, it is a vent to cool the blower motor.

That is what I thinking. On the older years the blower motor is mounted on the outside of fire wall under hood. THANKS
