Is the "security" light on or flashing? If so it's a security system failure. If not, try starting it with the shifter in neutral. If that gets you going the neutral safety switch is bad. If not, get a hammer, no joke, and hit the starter a few times. If that gets you going the starter is bad. HTH. -Jim

Make sure all your connections are clean and tight at the battery could be the whole issue.
