99 firebird 3800 had explosion in muffler and died.was in gear slowing down and tried to fire back up a few times but once it stopped it won't start. Any ideas? 1 Answer
Checked coil packs and replaced one I couldn't get a reading on but still won't start

I have a 1990 firebird with the 3.1l and I have been realized that when I start it to warm up, it sucks more gas then it does when I am driving it and I want to know why it does that. My other question is, one day. I was on my way back and I was at a stop sign and their was a car coming, so I put my foot to the floor to and it just died on me, it started right up and drove ever since that. 7 Answers

I have a 99 firebird 3.8 that is making a high pitched squeal that seems to be coming from the drivers side front wheel. It only happens when i start the car cold and only when the wheel is moving whether braking or not. It only lasts about three minutes or so. My best guess was the wheel bearing needing replacement but im not sure if it is coming from the wheel or if it just sounds that way from the drivers seat. It doesnt happen when idling. Only during wheel movement. Thoughts?? 2 Answers
