car was running security light came on now car won't start can any one tell me why ? thanks !!!!!!

When the security light comes on and stays on when the key is in the on position, it means that the security function isn't being deactivated. This is usually caused by one of two things: the resistor on your key being worn out and not making good connection, or one of the wires that go from the ignition lock cylinder to the BCM for the security function is broken. So first, have you tried the spare key?
