Fuel filter I have the same issue on my 96 Ford Thunderbird But also my headlights are acting up right side was working and it's not but the driver's side is working now

disconnect the tps to see if she will run better or not, do the same with her MAS sensor just checking or eliminating these running lean features, try engine off pump up your brakes fully while holding down her peddle, start her up does the peddle go down almost to the floor your are looking if your engine vacuum is drawing decently and it's check valve is working. Many things happen to this engine I have two one has 450000 great driving miles on it and never been broke down. That purge valve is a culprit if you can find it disconnect it also just watching does the engine improve. I wouldn't discount the charcoal cannister pump lost it's connection and opened the vacuum from the manifold.
