It should. Just match up the information on both tags that are attached to both transmissions. HTH. -Jim

Its a code p0742 should I get the whole transmission replaced or just fix the problem.. Right now I'm at a stand steal..

That's a code for the torque converter clutch (TCC) circuit stuck on. Get an estimate for the repair at a reputable transmission shop. This isn't a major failure. Does the engine stall when you shift into drive? If so it's a TCC problem for sure, since you're getting that code. I'd weigh the repair cost against the cost of a used transmission (which may have troubles of it's own). How many miles are on the car? HTH. -Jim

Yes it stall wen its shifts and its like it be tryna lose power.. I thought that i needed a fuel pump because the gas gage Dnt work until that code came up.. My car has 223k miles on it..

I'd definitely recommend getting an estimate for the repair. Then go from there. HTH. -Jim

I got some one who will do it for free just wanted to make sure that it was the tcc
