Fixed then its down again

I just had my intake gasket changed in my 2002 bonneville ssei and my family and I went about 15 miles shopping when my car lost oil pressure and I think I now have a rod that has went bad what would of cause this to happen?

Such a broad question. there are soooo many reasons for that to happen. I would say just take it to a local mechanic to have it checked out.
