I'm not sure I understand your question. But, replace the fuse with the same amperage as the old one. The amperage is stamped on top of the fuse. Your old key should still be programmed to the vehicle. On a GM a total of 10 keys can be programmed to the vehicle. Unless the locksmith zapped out all the other keys. He shouldn't have. To program additional keys yourself to the vehicle you do need 1 working key. You start the engine with the working key and shut off the engine. Remove that key and immediately insert the key to be programmed into the ignition and turn the ignition to the run position. Do not try to start the engine! Watch the security light on the dash. When it goes out, usually within 30 seconds, turn the ignition off, do not remove the key, then immediately start the engine with the new key. The new key is now programmed to the vehicle. Hope that helps! Jim
