dashboard lights and headlights on 2003 Pontiac Montana Van stopped working I can
manually turn on the headlights but no dash lights and the drivers door when opened dings
constantly without the key in or anything running

the switch is broke throwing current to the wrong circuit

Did you ever find a fix? Niece having same issue. Headlights and Interior lights just went out, everything else works fine.
