Subaru battery vs aftermarket battery.

Keep having to jump 2018 outback.  Relpaced
battery with interstate battery.  Car started
right up with new battery.  2 days later will
not start.  Bud clary Subaru told be cant put
aftermarket battery in.  Just does not fit right.
They said ran diagnostics and found nothing
wrong.  Brought it home.  Cant start it. put on
charger ligts and instrument panel flasjimg
off and on.  What is going on.

If a new and better battery does not fix the problem then you have a parasitic battery drain. It is also possible you bought a bad battery. I would return it and get another one. Bud is wrong. You can put an aftermarket battery but it does have to be the correct size (obviously).

Size 25 is OE size; 34 squeezes in nicely and can offer higher CCA for +$9 at COSTCO. The 25 is just fine.
