I have a 97 Olds Cutlass 3.1 and it will crank when I spray gas on intake but then it dies. I've already changed the fuel pump. Help!

Already replaced the fuel pump. Only cranks with gas sprayed on intake.

Well, it cranks, it just won't stay started. Does that mean it's getting fuel to the carb or spark plugs?

yes take the fuel inlet tube off of the carb and put it in a bottle and see if it pumps out gas
