The computer detected a throttle system problem and lit up the EPC light, which also caused the CEL to blink; it just behaves like that. After the restart, the problem went away. This occasionally happens with computerized controls. I wouldn't be concerned unless it happens again, and then repeats..... Your VW's under warranty and I suggest you take it in to verify that nothing's wrong before the warranty expires; maybe at your next service.
