Volkswagon tiguan EPC light

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I was on the freeway when the epc light flashed along with
engine speed 4000 rpm. Acceleration was very low. Took to
a shop and was told it was a coil needed to be replaced
and it needed a tune up. After paying $750 and not even a
day after picking it up from the shop, i tried to started it and
gasoline leaked all down my driveway and it shut off with
the same epc light flashing and the no exceed 4000 rpm...
Has anyone had this issue?
