wheels will they fit my 90 2+2

I am new to the 300zx, I have a 1990 that I would like to put new wheels on. I found a set of wheels that are 17x9 5x100 5x114.3 +35 in size. The dealer tells me that "These will bolt on to your 300ZX but will be a very wide wheel for the vehicle so some modifications may be required. It should be a pretty close fitment."

Not quite sure what this means, will they fit or not? What modifications are they referring to? What do they mean by close fitment?

They will fit, but they may rub on the shocks and when turning the wheel they may rub the inner finder liners. Some offsets require wheel spacers with or without extended lug bolts. I think the 350 and 370 rims also require spacers to fit on 300s.

Under bolt pattern, you have listed "5-100/5-114.3"....which one is it? - It can't be both. You can either be five by one hundred (common on alot of VWs) or u can be five by 114.3 (common on japanese imports)...If the wheels are 5x114.3, then they will fit...if they are 5x100...they will not....you also might need a hubcentric ring because the centerbore is kinda large.
