Z Mechanical Problem

I have A 90 Z WITH 124000 miles, except for this mechanical problem. when trying to start car it dies on first try, then will not start at all. I bleive it to bee a fuel or sensor problem, because I cannot smell gas when trying to start. I have replace the fuel pump and fuel filter. Not sure what to do next.

check your fuel pump relay
