I was trying to hook up my explorer toa trailer and switched the key switch all theway to
me when i tried to start the car it started but the gear shift wont move plz help me

Check your neutral switch.It releases the shifter.

Happened to me too. 20amp mini fuse drivers side floor panel. Sometimes the same fuse works the power windows and cigar lighter/charging outlet

My 2012 Ford Explorer gives me the message "shift to park" when I turn off the car. The car is fully in park. I have to push the button on the gear shift and jiggle the gear shift for it to finally acknowledge it's in park (by sliding the seat back and the message goes away).
