Serpentine belt screams loudly, why?

Why is their a high pitch loud screaming sound when I turn
over my car. Iwas told it's my serpentine belt, I could be
wrong. Is there any way to get rid of that sound?

It could be a loose belt. Or one of the things the belt is driving is starting to seize up. If the belt isn't very old, I would tighten it a little bit. Or replace. If being replaced, check all the pulleys for bad bearings.
