2020 Ram 2500 won't unlock after remote started

Asked by KrisIL Nov 30, 2020 at 09:15 AM about the 2020 RAM 2500 Tradesman Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Dealer installed mopar remote starter in my 2020 ram 2500. Everything works
fine until I remote start it . To unlock it sometimes I have to press the unlock
button few times sometimes only a couple of times. Not a contact issue since it
works perfectly until I start the truck. Been 5-6 times at the dealer already and
just opened a Ram case. What might be the issue?

You might want to consider having the OEM remote start system removed and go with an aftermarket.
