2015 RAM 2500 Diesel won't start

My son had water get in his Diesel and he has changed the fuel lines, injectors,
pump and cp3.  The pump is losing it's prime and the truck won't start but it
turns over.  He did change to FASS pump.  He is getting a code that says low
fuel pressue and he noticed that the transmission is not reading when you turn
the key.  Please help this mom get her car back.

Gear selector switch is the most common for the transmission not reading. Do the gears show on the scan tool? This sounds like an air leak in the fuel delivery system.
