Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Hi !
My name is Jonathan and can somebody help me please. All throughout the day, when I tried to start my car as many as  10 or 12 times before it cranks up. But I know for a fact that it is not the batterie or the starter or the alternator or the timing chain being stuck.

First reaction........... starter solenoid. It's like , click, click, click, every time you turn the key and then it starts.....

is it auto or manual trans? manual trans has an interlock on the clutch petal. Thats exactly what mine was doing, sometimes i thought it may not turn at all. I verified the clutch interlock was working, then started following wires. 1994 has an ignition relay on the passenger fender, I changed it, it has started every time since. $5.45 RockAuto https://www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/nissan,1994,d21+pickup,2.4l+l4,1212084,electrical- switch+&+relay,ignition+relay,3480
