1998 Pathfinder SE 4WD

Service engine  light on
Code says knock sensor on Bank One
When I clear code light remains out for several days then light reappears.
I heat no knock or pinging and performance seems fine.
Any ideas before I have to remove the intake manifold to replace the sensor?
Also, how many knock sensors are there?

there are two knock sensors as long as your fuel economy is the same don't worry about it as long as its still going into closed loop witch I think that year will and only worry about iyt for resale purposes may have frayed wire
