What could it be on my nissan sentra that won't start

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Was driving. Car lost power all lights still
on.wouldn't start. Changed fuel pump n
knock sensor. Still won't start unless I use
starting fluid but then quits again what could
it be?

I know the pump is new but did you check to see what pressure you have and it is correct. If yhe pressure is good your injectors may be clogged or leaking...

As joemon posted...you need to check the fuel pressure. You could have a fuel pump wiring issue, a bad fuel pump relay or something else wrong. The vehicle trying to run with starter fluid tells me it has spark and some compression so the problem lies somewhere in the fuel system.
