Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i have a 1997 ford taurus that will not run. I replaced the battery and had the alternator tested and passed 3 times. Not sure what else could be causing the problem. The last time I drove the car it beeped 3 times then died. Jumped the battery and it started right back up, however after turning off the car wouldnt start again. Does anybody have any suggestions or answers on what else could be the problem? Thank you for help in advance!

If your car beeped three times and then turned off it sounds like an anti-theft problem. I believe that the security system is preventing you from starting the vehicle

Unfotunately that is not the problem. I lost all power when driving so we thought it was the alternator. Very confused and lost on what to try. We thought possibly the voltage regulator but was told if alternator good then that wouldnt be the problem..
