Any engine codes? Do a basic visual check of all fluids as being low on oil or antifreeze can cause your issue and severe damage.

Last time they checked it they said something about misfire number 6 does that mean anything?

Probably a P0306. Like FOR said, start with a tuneup and filter changes. Air and oil filters. This could be as simple as a bad spark plug. I noticed you said it turns off when you turn. Do you have enough gas in tank?
