i have a 02 altima and it is starting to make a worrying sound in the rear end. what could it be and what steps do i need to take to fix the prob.

couldbe a wheel bearing jack it up and pull from side to side and seeif you get any movement rotating sometimes wont tell but if its bad enough it will make a noise as well
