my 2003 altima while driving will give eratic rpms then stall, what is happening. it has 111000 kms.

i sat at idle reving to 1500 rpm and hear a click and rpm will drop then return after a few seconds.

Hi ricardo! There is a wide range of possibilities here, all over the seriousness spectrum. It could be as simple as a problem in the RPM reporting system. Have this diagnosed by a professional, preferably at a Nissan dealer. Good luck!
