What would be the best most
effective sealant for a blown head
gasket or cracked head

The best repair is always a new head gasket. The magic stuff in a bottle is a temporary repair at best and may not work at all depending on how large the problem is with the head gasket.

Agree with tennisshoes but it is only temporary but have used bars leak that lasted two years.

Also do not keep adding if does not work the first couple of try if you do well clog up cooling system.
