2005 Nissan Armada lights randomly flickering

Asked by Jenn675 Feb 20, 2021 at 05:48 PM about the 2005 Nissan Armada LE

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My Nissan wouldn't start one morning. Replaced
the battery it wanted to start a little better but
would only turn over not fully start. Then it started
trying to start without the keys in so I disconnected
the keyless start and that helped it sounded like it
wanted to start even more. I did what this person
said to do to in the picture below and was able to
start the car. Thought everything was fixed. 3
hours later I go to restart it and the cars blinker
and lights are flicking on and off without being
turned on. I took the ignition switch out again and
made sure everything was put back together
correctly thinking I messed up something some
how. Seemed to work fine once again. The
following day the lights are randomly blinking on
and off again but at least it starts! What could be
the problem with the lights? Should I just buy a
new ignition switch?

I would try a new Ignition switch, and if that doesn't work, You have some wiring issues, so a mechanic would need to look it over.
